“I’ll get married but I don’t want to share a room with my wife” — Blaqbonez

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed that although he plans to get married, he does not want to share the same bedroom with his wife, citing his preference for privacy and his “polygamous nature.”

The rapper made the statement during a podcast conversation with media personality Nancy Isime while discussing his views on marriage and relationships.

When asked about marriage, Blaqbonez said he would eventually get married but wanted a different kind of marital arrangement.

He explained that he would prefer for himself and his wife to have separate bedrooms, partly because of their potentially different lifestyles and personal preferences.

“I’ll marry, but like, I’ll be in a different kind of marriage,” he said.

Asked what he meant by a different kind of marriage, the rapper explained that he did not want to share a room with his wife.

“First, I don’t want to be in the same room with my wife. Okay. Like, you have your room, I have my room,” Blaqbonez said.

He further explained that having separate rooms would allow both partners to decorate and arrange their personal spaces according to their individual tastes.

“What if I’m a Batman guy and I want everywhere dark and Batman-ish, and you’re a Barbie princess? You know, like, enjoy your life,” he said.

Blaqbonez also linked his preference for separate rooms to what he described as his “polygamous nature.”

“And also, it helps for my polygamous nature because, you know, I can’t—” he said before being asked by Isime to clarify.

“You’re polygamous in nature?” she asked.

“Yes,” Blaqbonez replied, adding that the arrangement would allow him to pursue other relationships without causing too much disturbance.

“So, like, I can be doing my P’s on the low without disturbing you too much,” he said.
